Penyuluhan Pemanfaatan Tanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA) Sebagai Sarana Pengobatan Tradisional Di Dukuh Potrowanen Desa Donohudan

Abstrak

Since ancient times medicinal plants have always played an important role in maintaining health, maintaining the body's immune system and treating various diseases. Therefore, until now medicinal plants have become something important for the community. Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) are plants that are efficacious as medicine and are cultivated in home yards, gardens, or fields. Medicinal plants are one of the people's choices because they are easy to plant and beneficial for health. The purpose of holding this outreach activity is to increase public knowledge, especially the residents of Dukuh Porowanen, Donohudan Village, in the use of family medicinal plants in self-medication. This counseling is carried out using the lecture method and using power point slides. In addition, in this outreach activity there was also a joint discussion and question and answer session about the types of TOGA, their benefits and the simple processing of plants so that they can be used as medicine. This activity can be said to be successful and beneficial for the residents of Dukuh Potrowanen, Donohudan Village, based on positive feedback from residents who stated that the counseling carried out was very beneficial for the residents and they gained knowledge about medicinal plants.
